Privacy of client data samples

Genoinseq believes that confidentiality is important in establishing and maintaining trusting and lasting relationships with their clients. As such, the unit follows strict confidentiality and security guidelines.

Genoinseq employees’ are bonded to Biocant by signing a confidentiality agreement, to prevent disclosure of information about clients and services. Whenever required, Genoinseq can sign specific confidentiality contracts with the clients.

Ownership of samples and data generated

The client has full ownership of its samples and of data generated from the projects.

At the end of the service, Genoinseq can return remaining samples to the client or store them for six months, after which they are destroyed. The data generated will be sent to the client immediately after production and additionally stored for twelve months. After this period the data will be deleted from the server and destroyed.
